The National Honor Society Haunted House

posted Nov 6, 2017, 5:47 AM by Rebekah Routos

On Saturday, October 28th the high school cafeteria was transformed into a frightfully scary haunted house.  The National Honor Society puts on this annual event to raise money to fund their community service for the rest of the year.  The 62 members of the NHS organized, decorated, advertised, and staffed the event.  The theme was “Haunted Family” and had four different rooms: Creepy Crawlies, Zombies, Crazed Clowns, and Haunted Dolls.  Over 150 visitors were led through the haunted house of terrors by their student guides.  NHS raised $665 through the event.  Next month they will use these funds to buy gifts to be distributed to needy families in our community.
