Students in Ms. Fitzgerald's Art III class explored the use of pastels as a medium to create portraits - either of themselves or of someone else.  This was the first time many  of them had used pastels but they were still able to create stunning portraits.  The pastels had two thicknesses - one that allowed the students to blend the colors smoothly and a finer variety that allowed the students to add the details.  The first image on the left is particularly interesting because it was created by Courtney Johnston who has a twin.  The top face supposed to be Courtney and the bottom one is her twin sister.  From there, moving from left to right, the next image is by Maddie Godfrey, Joli White, Ritchie Ward, and Emma Phillips.  Great job Artists!
