 Our Community

Merrimack Valley is a regional high school located in Penacook, a small village that comprises the northern edge of Concord, New Hampshire. Serving the surrounding communities of Andover, Boscawen, Loudon, Salisbury, and Webster, Merrimack Valley represents the second of two school districts within the city of Concord, though neither is affiliated.

The District serves a varied demographic population that is both urban (Penacook) and rural (Andover, Boscawen Loudon, Salisbury, and Webster). Geographically, each town in the Merrimack Valley School District is less than an hour from Boston, the Lakes Region, the White Mountains, and the Atlantic seacoast. As part of the Capital Region, the school is afforded opportunities to access cultural activities, institutions of higher learning, and other valuable enrichment opportunities.
